Crafted from 100% cotton fibers and natural materials, the Meadows Layered Dress combines hand-painted Mulmul and undyed & unbleached Kala cotton.
The first layer features a sheer Mulmul shirt with abstract hand-painted brushstrokes, detailed with Kantha embroidery, double collars, and cuffs. The natural dyes- indigo, iron and marigolds collected from temples- bring a subtle yet striking palette.
The second layer is a flared dress, designed with inverted pleats and side pockets. Its deep V-neck reveals the Mulmul shirt beneath, creating a layered look.
The two separates in this ensemble, give the option to be paired with other pieces from one’s wardrobe, making it truly versatile.
